We just paid $2.60/gallon at Solomons Yacht Haven (I think that's the name) yesterday. Hans freaked out: "Why are we doing this??" he sputtered. "You KNOW Piney Narrows will be less!" (And at 2.42 it would have been a lot less, if I knew that we would spend the extra hour to pass our own little Marshy Creek, wait for the Kent Narrows Bridge, fuel up and wait again for southern passage from there. Which we have NEVER managed to do.) However, Calvert Marina had closed their fuel dock and were waiting for the truck; they were going to have to PAY $2.69. I knew that if we headed north next weekend through Kent Narrows that they too would have had their next shipment of fuel. Who knows what it will be!
