    Anything is possible, if you have the $$....
     
    I once removed twin turbo's from a pair of Cummins 504's. This wasn't all
    that hard as they were aftermarket conversions and the original pistons and cam
    shafts were still in place. I simply returned them to their original state.
    Then adjusted the pump settings to reduce pressure.
     
    To convert engines that were designed with turbos, probably would require
    changing pistons, camshaft , injection pump settings and a bunch of other
    stuff that can get expensive.
