Does anyone have experience with converting turbo charged engines to naturally aspirated? I am in the market for a used boat in the 40' range and am finding many with turbo charged engines where my preference is NA. The conversion would be on engines with around 2500 hrs or so. Does the cost of conversion make sense? Does the removal of the turbo equipment and associated items cause any problems to the engines? Do some engines handle the conversion better than others, ie. Pekins, Cat, etc? Appreciate your comments on this, good and bad.
Thank you
