I have Verizon cellular service and have found it better for my purposes
than
some of the other providers. Looking at Verizon's coverage map, there are
lots of
"holes"--some of which are picked up in roaming. I also looked at T
mobile's
coverage map. On this you can get right down to the cell tower. I have
physically identified the T mobile cell tower, which is only 0.8 mile from
my
home. The coverage map gives my home area a "fair" (just above no coverage)
rating.
How sensitative are these internet services in relation to cell phone
service?
My Verizon service often uses a tower in the same location--and often I do
not
have good Verizon coverage at my home (only 0.8 miles from the tower--but
with
heavy woods inbetween). At some times we get cellular service from across
the
bay in Alabama.
It would seem that internet connectivity may be related to distance from
cell
tower and signal propigation.
