Vegetable oil is fine for diesel as long as its filtered and the viscosity
index is reduced to that of number 2 diesel. Simply thinning will not do it.
There are many recipes out there for reducing the viscosity index.
The availability of vegetable oil is very limited and generally already spoken
for by bio diesel makers.
Buying raw soybean and corn for converting may be a real possibility.
