DEPENDS!!
Storms can disrupt pipeline distribution regulator stations not to mention
pipeline pumping stations.
While gas linea are buried and thus impervious to hurrricanes etc. they can be
disrupted by earthquakes and if hilly terrain, mud slides or similar.
Also at interval the pipelines have stations abover ground and pumping stations
have air breathing pump motors.
