T&T: 6.354 was Mysterious Screw in crankase

      Perkins 6.3544 NA. Note slight oil leak in bilge. On engine, same side as
      fuel lift pump but underneath there was a threaded hole in top of

     I just ckd my engines, to be positive.
     There is a large plug on mine. On the port eng I moved the dip stick to
    that hole from the other side of the eng. Makes checking the oil a lot
    easier.

    There seem to be a dozen models of 6.354's as I have never seen two that
    look alike!!!
