How far north? And what longitude?
Theoretically both systems work all the way to the Alaskan border, covering
99 pct of the Canadian land mass. Note that I use the word theoretically.
As for your other questions, it is almost a Ford or Chevy, NBC or ABC
question. Matter of taste. My company is a distributor of both systems, and
we have learned that there are fierce advocates of each one. So we are
happy to accomodate them!
Neither company offers subscriptions to people with Canadian addresses yet,
but both have formed partnerships to do so. They have to be licensed by the
Canadian government. They have the signal coverage now, as noted above.
