    Hi all hands,
Very interesting to read the differant results with the satellite radios.
Used XM bringing the boat back from Florida. Used Radio Shack "quarter
sized" antenna.. Velcroed it to an aluminum hardtop and it performed great,
across the gulf up the river system under T.S. Arlenne and all. Did I
understand that one listee recommended getting it from West Marine, try it
out, then return it to WM using their liberal return policy. If you liked it
buy it from someone cheaper than WM online. Can't wait till see how this
works out for all of us down the road. Guess maybe I'm from the old school,
but this really appears like a really "cheap shot" to me. WM gets it back as
a used unit, has to about "eat it" and they're still supposed to match the
prices of the online no return policy vendors. Go for it boyz while it
lasts. Can't wait to hear the bitchin' when that's over. YMMV
    Cheers,
    Dick
