I installed an X M radio last yr. in prep for our Southern Circle Cruise
using the little 50 cent size antenna that came in the automobile kit and
it worked great on the entire cruise. We found no need for the "marine"
version at $100.
We were North to abt. 250 miles south of Chicago and as far East as
Nashville,Tn. ; West to Tulsa, Oklahoma and South to the Gulf of Mexico.
