I have just carefully sorted through my spare fastener collection aboard
Katahdin removing all items that show any inclination to be attracted to
a powerful magnet. Am I correct to assume that the remaining items
should be quite resistant to corrosion?

My fastener collection is in plastic drawers that are in a plastic case
mounted on one wall of Katahdin's workshop. It is a handy location, but
the nearest two drawers are, at their nearest point, only about eight
inches from the gyro for the autopilot, and the other drawers are
another one or two feet further away. Given that none of the screws,
bolts, nuts or washers will react to a magnet, am I correct to assume
that my spare fastener collection should have no impact on the gyro?
