T&T: winch

    Originally, Seahorse had one of these hydraulic winches. Something like 50'
    of 5/8" chain and several hundred feet of wire. The PO removed it because "it
    spooled so fast at the touch of the valve, I was sure the crew would be
    afraid to touch it." Apparently, this was with the engine at idle!
     
    Agree with Bob, these are not a good choice for a yacht.
