After asking a few questions earlier in the year about sanitation issues I
will report to the list our results.

    Recap - Skooch is a 42 Hatteras LRC and I changed to a Lectra-San
sanitation device for the aft cabin head. Previously it was a 30 gallon
holding tank or overboard. Combined with a Atlantes Raritan head it took
about 10 hours for me to install and about 1.5 boat units in parts.

Our first real test was the long cruise with the world famous Worton Point
Yacht Club, a two week cruise around the Chesapeake Bay. After 446.5 NM and
17 days the sanitation device worked perfectly. The Admiral and I could not
be happier with the results. No pumping or worrying about how full the tank
is. Skooch has a fresh water head system so I needed a special salt feed
tank, but even that was easy to set up and only needed more salt after 20
    live aboard days.

In 17 days and 440 miles we only saw a part of the Chesapeake Bay. So in a
few weeks we are off again.
