I am in the process of having the bottom painted, as well as some
other work done, at a local boat yard. Unfortunately, things are not
going well and I do not believe that I am getting what I am paying
for.
Since this is my first time having our boat in for repairs, I am not
sure just how poorly the yard is performing. I do know that the new
paint should not be flaking off in spots after just a couple of days
in the water.
There are other issues with props & shafts, and shaft alignments.
I thought it might be helpful to have an expert review the repairs
before I pay the bill. Wouldn't hurt to have an independant opinion on
what has been done.
So, any recommendations for a good surveyor in this area?
