i installed one of these electornic Shurflo a little over a month ago, I'm
    not really impressed.

it has failed to start at least half a dozen times... each time I had to
turn off the breaker and then back on, sometimes 2 or 3 times, to get it to
start. It also makes a buzzing sound right before starting and the pump it
self isn't exactly as silent as advertised. it also doesn't regulate as
smoothly as I thought it would... pressure may not vary as bad as a normal
pump with switch but it's not constant either.

i also don't like the fittings they use... fittings slides in, have 2
Orings but are held in place with a plastic clip... break the clip and
you're dead in the water (or dead without water). I wonder what happened to
    a plain old threaded fitting...

i got the one listed as 24/32volt, maybe it only buzzes in 32v systems...
haven't called shurflo yet to find out.

i will replace the seal of the galley maid i had, that thing is built like a
tank and no electronics, and will keep it as back up. I have a feeling the
shurflo won't last as long as the galley maid.
