something is fishy with that explanation from your A/C guy...
i don't see how wire size could result in such a large drop. you should
have larger wires from the genset but 30amp shore cable cords use 10 gauge
wire...so... if a 50' 30amp shore power cable can power an A/C, i don't see
why the same 10ga wire coudln't work from the Genset to the panel...
