I understand that if I hire a diver clean my hull or someone to wash & wax the
topsides, there may be a couple of employment issues.
First- How do I make sure that worker is an independent contractor and does
NOT become an employee were I have to with-hold taxes & pay social security ?
Does anyone know of a contract online that can be used?
Second- Does paying them over $600 per year mean I have to issue a 1099.
