It seems that FNMOC may change the product offering in such a way that the
rest of us may have to use FTP to get the info that we now get by web
browser. It is not clear if this change will apply to all forms of their
web site offerings or just for their DOD and other internal users. I have
sent an email query to clarify this and see if a test site will be
available for any user to try out prior to any switch over.
I know that many of you use this site like I do and this could cause real
problems especially if you download this stuff on a PDA like I do
sometimes. When I was in Zhuhai China the FNMOC site was blocked or
something? It worked from Hong Kong.
More about this as it becomes available.
