I have done a spot survey of the lack of hotspots at the various harbors
between SF and Port Angeles WA. At Crescent Harbor it is the lack of money.
In Port Angeles it is politics in that the business community doesn't want
a public subsidized entity to run such a function. It is obvious that
talking to some of the boaters enroute in the area that they want and could
use such facilities.
At Port Angeles there is a new chandlery at the head of E-F dock. That's
the dock near and across from the fuel dock. Fuel was under $2.00 a gallon
there yesterday. The chandlery folks are interested in putting up a
hotspot. Stand by for developments.
