When I bought this boat, one of the first things I did was install a Prosine
2.0. It worked ok for the first year, then started giving error messages
till it finally gave up he ghost a week ago.

Called Xantrex and they agreed to my warranty claim. Said they were out of
the 2.0, but agreed to send their latest model, the MS2600(?).....

My question is, for those of you more smarter(!) than me, is why does the
2.0 weigh 25 pounds and the NEW MS2600 weight about 75?. Was there a problem
with the 2.0, and did Xantrex do an about-face and go back to the old school
    stuff?
