Jeff and I have had this discussion offline.
My feeling is if you only boot your laptop at anchor all you can "see" out
is about 2-3 miles. I leave my E-mail active while I'm running so I see
networks for a full 100 mile day which gives me plenty of time to get my
E-mail and surfing done. Bridges are especially productive. The CAPN runs
happily along with Outlook and IE on my XP Pro laptops.
