Just sold my Trawler, and when I called BOATUS Insurance for a new policy on
my next boat. They declined coverage because of the Hurricane Ivan Claim in
2004 on the Trawler...say they won't do business with any one with a claim
in the past three years. They did however renew the Policy on the Trawler
with no penalty.
I don't understand this attitude on the part of BOATUS, supposedly being the
voice for the Boater.
I need to find a new insurance company
