    Mike
Most likely the pry off the teak method will work. There is come chance that
you will disrupt some of the fiberglass deck. Is this a molded deck or a
plywood deck with glass over it. If it is the latter, I would seriously
    consider not using the prybar!

Is there any softness or dry rot in the deck core?

Epoxy with high density filler should be used to fill the holes. However I
would also strongly consider a layer or two of glass cloth. After that,
probably one of the truck bedliner type materials. This is a big job, and as
you know, some folks just go with the bedliner to start.

Fairing the old fiberglass is often a challange.

For paint I like one of the two part L P's rolled on, with the micro beads
rather than sand. I put the beads in the first coat and just put on the LP
for the second coat. If you put beads in the two coats, some will work loose
with time. The second coat holds the first coats beads in place.

    Regards,
    Bob Austin
