Hi
When is your Propane Sniffer powered up?
All the time i.e the same as the bilge pump?
Only when you are on board?
Only when you are using propane?
On my recently acquired boat the only propane appliance is a stove. A
breaker on the DC distribution feeds the sniffer and panel with a switch
to control the valve at the tank. It appears from tracing the wiring the
only function of the sniffer is to sound an alarm. The switch on the panel
will control the tank valve regardless what the sniffer is doing.
The literature indicates the sniffer draws 165 ma. Will this affect the
operation of the TruCharge when the boat is unattented?
Thanks
John Gallagher
