Following is an excerpt from a post of mine just two years ago here on T &
T.For any eastcoasters thinking about a trip from either Mass to Maine (a new,
separate flotilla) or to Nova Scotia from anywhere, here is an option: (for
2005 the flotilla is returning Nova Scotia)

You can get info on the Fundy Flotilla" from Maine tro Fundy at Points East
Magazine (online). They have newsletters about flotillas posted.

I joined last years (2002) flotilla, 19 boats, sail & power, for two weeks,
    from
Northeast Harbor, Me, to Southern NS to Mahone Bay, on the East Coast. I then
stayed two additional weeks on my own cruising SW NS to Yarmouth. Two Krogens
went North to Cape Breton Island at the furthest tip of NS....From there it's
only a bit over 100 miles to Southern Newfoundland.

I enjoyed the flotilla as it afforded company and one knolwedgeable guest
    aboard who
joined me on my boat. Local tours and bus trips organized by the flotilla
    chairman can be very interesting.

Not for everyone, but worthwhile for many.
Usual disclaimers, just a satisfied past participant.
