The two exterior wooden doors on my Marine Trader 44 rest and slide on a bronze track that is about 3/8" wide. When the track is clean and lubricated, these heavy doors can be moved with ordinary effort. The track becomes dirty very quickly and then moving the doors takes a lot of strength, more than my wife would like to exert.

Others have solved this problem by replacing the bronze track with a Teflon track, but I would prefer to hang the doors so that one would not have to move as much dead weight each time the door is opened.

I have not been able to find the track I need, although it obviously is made by some manufacturer, since the Post 46 in the slip next to me has the right kind of track. Neither Home Depot or Lowes have marine grade track, nor was I able to find it at Rockler, which has just about every kind of hardware you can think of.

Does anyone have a source for hanging door hardware suitable for a marine environment? Tks, Martin.
