I covet an air horn that could be used to back down in an emergency, and have the big ships quiver in fear at it's sound. However, I am not willing to pay more for the horn than for the boat.
A Canadian firm that makes a wide range of electric and air horns for marine, railroad and other applications is:
A friend visited the factory and purchased one of their air horn and used a scuba bottle & regulator to supply air. It was very impressive.
