    Ron,
    You beat me to it. I have done a little research (I use that word loosely)
    on electric horns and they do draw more current than most of us might
    expect. It seems that good electrical connections with proper size wire are
    important for optimum operation. Without enough current they can sound
    "tinny" and lose volume.
    I know that checking wiring is going to be a "to do" for me on mine.
    Particularly because some times it sounds pretty good and the next its real
    "ratty". Could be as simple as needing a new button.
    We'll see.
