Thanks for your response. I have read that as little as 1% antifreeze in
the crankcase can / will cause damage. I suppose there is also a time
element.
I also saw that the propylene antifreeze is not as damaging i.e. it takes
a higher percentage to do the same damage as ethylene.
I have a situation like this at present and am trying to determine how
much damage may have been done and how would one know without doin oil
changes and running for considerable hours and doing oil sampling,
meanwhile possibly doing more damage.
