Keith is correct. It is still common practice to install heaters in industrial
equipment desitned for outdoor use or placed in outdoor cabinets.
Telecom and power distribution companies who have electronic equipment mounted
in outdooer cabinets have thermostatically controlled heaters for maintaining
warmth during the cold months of the year.
