Hi Michael,
If you want to learn more than you probably want to know about bolts and
where to use what grade, find a Lawson Products rep in you area and give him
a call. My brother in law is a rep for them in San Antonio (has been for 30
years or so) and I've had several discussions with him about this sort of
thing. He really knows his stuff in that area. They specialize in fasteners
and such for the maintenance industry and sell nothing but top of the line
fasteners, saw blades, drill bits, etc.
No connection with Lawson Products, other than being related to an employee.
If you can't find a rep to talk to you in your area that knows what he's
talking about, I'll be glad to give you my brother in laws number, off list.
I doubt he'll sell you anything, but will at least tell you what to be
looking for.
