I agree.
When I decided to add more battery charger capacity to reduce my generator
run time two years ago, I was looking at buying another XANTREX 40A statpower
(new)...(I already had three aboard). With remote Panel, I think these are in
the $400 range. Instead, I purchased a reburburshed 2500 WATT Heart Inverter
with a 130AMP charger...list about $1300....I paid about $540 (including
shipping) and separately bought a Link 1000 monitor/controller...I don't remember
that cost...The inverter came with a 90 day warranty from XANTREX which was
enclosed....so far so good after two seasons of light inverter and heavy charger
use.
