    Mike,

Ahh, yes, the good old Constavolt! Used to be the only charger USCG approved
for use on passenger-carrying vessels, and not a bad unit. Sorry to hear you
have a 32V system. I am intimately familiar with these, and happily, I no
longer have to find parts for them!

My guess is that if you only have 12V showing on a 32V battery bank, the
low-voltage disconnect in the charger has done it's job and your battery bank,
and/or the connections between them and/or to the charger are suspect. If not,
you might swap the two outputs and see what happens.

    Regards,

    Mike Cowan lamented:

I had to make the statement tonight that my major work was done. Guess
that never happens on a boat! 1st winter storm of the year and a boiler
went down with a low voltage error. My battery charger has apparently
failed partially. The second boiler is wired to a second battery bank, so
    I have heat :-).

I have a Lemarche Constavolt (20 years old) that has apparently lost the
ability to charge one of the two banks. It is a 220v A/C, 50 amps, 32V DC
x 2 bank model. It appears that it cannot charge the house bank (0 amps
shown and the bank is at 12 volts. The start bank is good voltage and the
charger can put 50 amps to it (tried cranking the engine). I opened the
unit and checked all fuses and did a visual, all looks fine. With the
holiday and the weekend my chances of factory support or a replacemnet 32
unit is slim at best for a week. Does anyone know what I should look for,
    or have any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Mike
