    Have you thought about WiFi? Jeffrey Siegel has written about his success
    in finding WiFi access points in the Bahamas. Maybe there are some where
    you're going. A high-output WiFi card and desktop antenna can be gotten for
    $100 or so. A more powerful antenna for ~$100 more. It's worth a shot.
