I did a search for "marine hose". Found Trident, Shields, Amazon, Quebec
Hose. Maybe 1-2 more listed as marine hose manufacturers.
So far I have found none, zero, nah-nah manufacturer's that state anything
about stainless steel reinforcing. Most talk about polyester and/or
synthetic plys with a mention of helix reinforcing. Some say steel wire but
    nothing about SS wire.
Can anyone point me in the direction of advertised stainless steel wire
reinforced marine hose? I might be persuaded to install it if I knew that my
insurance wouldn't pay if I didn't have it.

I really feel this is like so many other things. Use a little common sense
when you select a product for an application and don't always depend on the
labeling. These are made by a "marine hose manufacturer" but you can bet
I'll be down at PepBoys selecting a hose for a raw water intake before I'll
    use one of em. http://www.tridentmarine.com/stage/potable.htm
    Thanks,
    Bill
