If you are a cruiser and using WiFi as well as cell phone access, the
important issue is does the ISP have output SMTP authentication so you can
send your mail from a "foreign" LAN. If they don't, you had better make
peace with their web interface. If they don't have a web interface you
    chose the wrong ISP.

Where the ISP is, or where their dial access points are is moot when you are
using a cell phone. When you are using WiFi, it is also moot.

I would propose asking the question which ISPs have both web and SMTP output
authentication as well as Postini or some other spam and virus management
    product on their servers.

AO-Hell chose their own poison and my guess is it will kill them slowly.
    Vote with your dollars...

                                              Regards....
