    (SNIP) Phil, Well it should work great 'cause it's marked "Marine".I guess
    the ole saying "ignorance is bliss" sure knew what he was talking about. If
    you don't have the experience to know what will work, you should only buy
    and install what you're comfortable with. But on the other hand don't knock
    the people trying
    to raise knowledge one notch!!

    Gee Dick, I wasn't knocking anyone, just providing a data point. Sanitary
    hose is smooth, strong, and accustomed to a nasty environment. I wouldn't
    use heater hose personally, because 1 1/2" heater hose might collapse under
    suction. It's under pressure in automotive applications.
