    Greg, we had exactly the same experience, but a little further south. I would
    guess about 150 yards south of the north tower.
    It was some time ago, and I had just built and installed a Heathkit depth
    finder. I already knew there was great depth of water there, and was shocked when
    the alarm, set for about 10 feet, went off. I stopped at once, afraid it
    might be a submarine. As we drifted, the finder went up and down, 6 feet to one
    hundred, and back again.I'm quite sure it was a large mass of small fish. It
    must have been millions of them
