It appears that the documentation on AT&T's web site that the Nokia 6360
can be used with your ISP and their dialup modem is in error. It's not that
their site explicitly indicates this can be done, but the docs for the
phone imply that it can be. In any event consider that this won't work.
I am presently experimenting with an AT&T GSM phone, the LG 4020. The phone
is usable for getting buoy and weather reports. The major problem is lack
of network along the US West Coast. The coverage maps are not encouraging.
I will test the LG 4020 during the winter as I get near the coast. It
supports but I have not tried the email feature.
I will be out of email and cell phone range for most of this next week.
