This could become an interesting comparison! However, Seahorse has a
full-keel sailboat-type hull, easily driven compared to most trawlers. Since I have
only owned her since August, the following is based on the PO's "Round the Horn"
passage. This amounted to approximately 3000 hours and includes fuel for the
heating boiler and occasional use of the "get-home" engine for purposes of
battery-charging while anchored. Almost 100% of this was in deep water, so no
bottom effect as in ICW, etc. Don't have a fuel cost. The bottom was clean at the
beginning and very foul at the end.

53' Skookum troller, 80,000 lb displacement, single Lugger 668D, 1750 RPM,
    7.5 knots SOG

    8400 GAL burned

    3000 HRS run

    2.8 GPH

    2.7 NMPG

Hell, that's almost as good as my '58 Edsel got!
