    You might suggest that your friend double-check the weight as well. When
    arranging transport for my Westsail 43 in '97, I made the mistake of giving my
    trucker the factory spec weight of 32,000 lb.; I didn't know that she actually
    weighed 40,000. Long story short, the trucker brought a trailer good for 35,000,
    loaded the boat, and was turned back at the FL/GA boarder. This cost him 2
    extra days, an overweight permit, and me, $600.00!
