The hooks on COSTCO, Home Depot, and SAM's trailer tensioning straps look
quite similar to these claws. I'm going to try one on 3/8" chain and see how
they fit. Also, a local farm store has chain accessories and I'm going to
them out as well. Two straps with 4 hooks are under $20.00 and they don't
rust in fresh water.
