Which is an excellent idea. As one who suffers from partial color blindness, in particular Red/Green deficiency. I can vouch for the fact that at times extra effort and caution is required to identify a red channel marker or light from a green one in certain light conditions and at certain distances. Channel markers often are different shapes which is a great help. Lights on the other hand often call for verification from a first mate or admiral.
