    YOU SAID:
"Brokers like easy surveyors, which should be
    disregarded by buyers."

    REPLY:
Bob, is yet another disservice provided by the broker community? I may tend to believe this, but the last two boat surveys I had done I used the brokers' recommendations. I may have been fortunate and the boats were both in great shape, so it may not have mattered who did the surveys. I'm having a survey done this Friday and am using the broker's recommendation once again, I hope I don't get burned.

As much as we should all understand that the broker represents the seller, it would seem to me that they also have a much broader repretation to protect that would preclude them from suggesting poor surveyors. Maybe, I'm just more trusting than most. Even when I don't like the broker, I still tend to believe them. You know, maybe I should reconsider my thoughts about brokers; I do know some snake oil sales guys.
