THANKS BOB!! That's new information to me.
Its NOT a Coast Guard inspected vessel, so my inspection regiment is
made up, not regulated. Hmm, that regulation is probably based on
historic data. Maybe I should have it inspected annually..

Paul Christen notes that he has his life raft "inspected every handfull
of years". in reference to "security". Please note the Coast Guard
requires annual recertification for life rafts on inspected vessels
after the raft is 2 years old. It is my experience that canister stored
rafts can detiorate faster than you might expect.
I realize that this is an annology to the WiFi security--but if you are
only inspecting the raft every hand full of years, instead of
recertifying the raft every year, this may not be the best security!
