    This is really not a boat thread I suppose but here goes anyway.... :)

    Bad people will always find a way to do bad things.
    If a spammer uses my wifi connection to spam people, that's sad, but
    there it is. Closing my wifi connection and not letting the people
    around me have internet connectivity is an extreme answer. I don't have
    the complete answer, but ponder this, if no one responded to spam email,
    wouldn't it go away? Spammers are sending spam because it WORKS. So if
    everyone would just ignore it, it would stop.
