I never counted, but I am quite sure that our trip from Oak Harbor up
through S E Alaska and back included the use of well over 1000 waypoints.
That doesn't include the other waypoints we have stored for cruising more
    local waters.

Since Mike is a professional skipper, I would assume he has more than I have
and would want to keep them, rather than re-invent the wheel each trip. I
also didn't get the feeling Mike was "dumping" on the program, only
describing his experiences, as he has sung its praises in the past.

Thanks for the information on O N, Mike. I'll be using it to upgrade soon.
That's the way it looks from here.

900 waypoints?? WOW! I've been cruising for 5 years, along the east coast
(US), and I have nowhere near 900 waypoints. I gotta guess the program was
written for some "typical" boater who might have a more reasonable set of
waypoints. It seems unfair to me to dump on a program because it fails to
perform a function the average boater would never ask it to do.

Or, am I just waypoint challenged? If so, I'll start collecting them next
    summer;-))
