    In a message dated 10/1/04 12:01:20 AM,
     writes:

<< how do you feed all these inverters? run a bunch of 12 or 24 volts wires
from your batteries thruout the boat? or run extra wiring to specifc
outlets and then switch over when on shore/genset?

    complicated, not very efficient. >>

The ideal way is to run a 12v. or 24v. buss from bow to stern, fused at the
house battery. Then drop a fused short feed line to each inverter or piece of
    DC equipment.

    Simple and efficient.
