The resources on this List are tremendous. This was like that scene in
Annie Hall...
I had not heard of Outdoor Navigator. We use Maptech raster charts and
like them. We currently use Nobeltec but that may change depending on
what happens in the chart world. We are a "Raster Boat." It is solely
our personal preference to have our electronic charts look like our
papar charts (which we use in conjunction).
I would like to know more about Maptech's software products (Outdoor
Navigator or otherwise). What raster charts can it use? NOAA freebies?
Does it work with Canadian raster charts (NDI)? These are big issues
with the latest Nobeltec version right now. Nobeltec (Boeing) would
answer those last two questions in the negative.
Jeffrey, now is your chance. We learned last week that it is OK to do
commercial promotion on this List as long as someone asks the question.
Please go easy on the magazine "awards."
