One never connects the inverter's AC inputs and outputs together for it will
surely cause damage to any inverter I am familiar with. Better check with
the Techs at the manufacturer for instructions.

    Good luck,

    Help!

I think I might have done something DUMB. I read somewhere that a listee
plugged his shore power cord from his inverter to the boats shore power
input to get ac to the boats built in outlets. I did it, the light I had
plugged into the boats AC lit for about 5 to 10 seconds then went out and so
    did the inverter
The inverter is a STATPOWER PORTAWATTZ 1750 WATT. Did I fry it? Can it be
fixed if I did fry it.

Thanks for any help out there.
